Sky q box keeps turning off and remains unresponsive. Eventually I give up and switch it off at the wall. When I turn on again the blue screen with the message saying press home when the screen goes blank comes up, the screen then either goes blank or 'snows out' so the message is barely readable. If I press the home button nothing happens and the box continues to rumble. Once in a while The home page does appear only to disappear a minute or two later. Do I need a new box or is there a fix?

Looks like the box is failing.
Best to contact Sky for a replacement.

Thank you. How do I contact them? All I get is not very helpful virtual assistants!

But have a read of the Sky Q help article here, trying the help from tab 2 onwards;

I've also escalated this to Sky and they should be in touch with you soon about it.
Look out for a message from Sky on your email and Sky Community private messages.
Look out for the blue chat bubble within your Sky community.
