I to am having the same problem with ITVX and Netflix. Today I watched it earlier it was fine now tried to watch something and same playback error on both. Keeps telling me to switch SkyQ box have already done that twice yesterday and once today. I have Sky super fast broadband it's working I have already switched that off and rebooted it 3 days ago I am now having this problem every day.

Agree, this issue plague's the Sky Q box.
I too have had the sky q box for a few years and this issue remains today.
I've tried the hidden menu to clear the app cache etc... but none of that works, only a complete power off and back on after 20 seconds fits the job.
I tend to use Netflix and Amazon mostly, it affects both.
I can only assume it's a memory leak in the software.
Probably in the underlying Sky Q/OS side, since it affects multiple apps.
It would be nice to fix with a software update, but I expect that's not going to happen.
Regards,
Ryan
