Sky q box catch up or on demand not working

Catch up and on demand not working on sky q . Get message saying i have to upgrade subscription

Thanks for advice. Had to call sky help line they reset something at their end which dolved problem. Thanks for your reply

hi @Steve86 

 

Are you a new customer or recently made changes to your subscription or similar ?

 

Do you have the HD add on - if not then note the following:


The default download quality is set to HD (high Definition) not SD so when you try to download and watch you are prompted to upgrade (i.e. take out the HD subscription)

So if you don't have the HD add on you just should try changing your download preference to SD
Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences

(Please note this setting can only be set on the Main box)
