Sky q box appears to be on and HDMI cables connected however no picture

Have disconnected and reconnected power cable plus have unplugged and repuggled hdmi cable at TV & Sky q ends

Hi @Thunder63 

First make sure that the Television is switched on and is switched to the HDMI input to which the Q box is connected.
Then with the Q box switched on with green led illuminated
Press
Home 1 0 8 0 Home
on the Q box remote control.

This will change the Q box to standard resolution which will work for all TV’s.

Can't get any response when pressing Home 1080 Home

when I take out the orange power cable and replace I get the message on the TV

Sky TV you will be ready to go in a couple of mins

followed by press the home button when the screen goes blank

then it goes HDMI 1 no signal

When I remove & replace the orange power cable sometimes I don't get any messaged on the screen !

Was the Qbox on with green led @Thunder63

When I pull out the power cable I get the blue Q light come on followed by the messages mentioned previously the light goes from red to yellow..no green light comes on?

hi @Thunder63 

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.

No Nothing has changed @Thunder63 

It's just that 1080i resolution is the native Q box resolution
