Sky picture gone dark and different colours but normal tv is fine

Check that the HDMI cable between the Sky Q box & your TV is firmly in place. If that doesn't resolve it, try a different HDMI port on your TV.  After that, you could try a different HDMI cable.

it would also be a good idea to restart your Sky Q box by putting it in standby and then turning the power off at the mains, wait 30 seconds, then starting it up again.

Not sure, checked all cables and turned off completely twice now seems to be back to normal

I had the same issue, but just with my Sky upstairs. I went and rebooted the main Sky box as cables all seemed to be fine.

This worked on TV box upstairs, when it all reset it was back to normal
