Sky picture goes blank for seconds

Sky q goes blank multiple times for 1 - 3 seconds. If it a recorded programme or just watching. It looks like a disc error? Has got worse, happens more often

Hmm. Tried another HDMI cable? The aerial input doesn't use that of course so would be unaffected if it was flakey.

If it happens watching live TV it's not a drive issue

do streaming apps do it?

Doesn't it store live tv on the drive so.you can rewind etc?

Havnt tried apps but isn't that different to storing, but will try

It caches it there yes but I don't believe it reads back what it has cached unless you actually rewind.

Apps are different to recording, that's why I'm curious.

Which channels are affected? Do you ever notice it on BBC or ITV, or is it only channels shown in this image?
