Sky mini box connection loss - not on sky BB

Hi,

setup: EE FTTP, deco 6E mesh network, sky Q main box and one mini. Main box connected by WiFi.

the mini box keeps disconnecting. I've gone through the process of resetting the main box, resetting the mini and then resetting the connection on the mini. Then daily resetting the connection on the mini to the main box.

im fed up now. (Admittedly I don't use sky, my wife does).

any ideas on what to try next. I wonder if it is a distance issue. I don't want a WiFi repeater/extender. I  don't see why the main and mini can't link via my mesh network. Or can they??

Hi @Dizz

Afraid the mins if using WiFi will only connect to the main Q (or the Sky router if on Sky Broadband)

You may get some success if you can connect both your Q boxes to your Mesh network by Ethernet.

All Q box WiFi can then be turned off.
