Sky full fibre

I am upgrading my Sky broadband to Sky full fibre. Will my recorded programmes disappear?

@HARRY67  Upgrading broadband has no effect whatsoever on what is stored on a Sky Q box.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Only if you've opted to take Sky Glass or Sky Stream for subscription television viewing alongside the new broadband product.

Re: Sky full fibre

  • I've got another hub. Will that still keep the recorded programmes?

@HARRY67

As previous stated a different hub has no impact on programmes stored on your Sky Q box.

We seem to be at odds with terminology here

Hubs relate to broadband & used purely for networking

If you mean another SKY TV box then as before changing broadband/internet has no bearing on recordings on KY TV boxes (note : you have posted in SKY Q - if you have SKY Q then all recordings are stored on the Main box only anyway)

Re: Sky full fibre

Yes I'm with Sky Q but I'm getting a new hub.

The recordings are stored on a hard disk inside the Q box.
