Sky engineer booked for 9 March, stayed in all morning then get text saying engineer couldn't get access to property! Had to rebook for 13 March. Self-employed so may lose money if he doesn't turn up early. So angry

We are customers here so we can't say what access issues the engineer may or may not have encountered. Do you live in a flat or a multi occupancy building?

- I live in a house on a side road with plenty of parking and a working doorbell. The engineer had my phone number as he texted me at 9.46 to say he was on his way. Then I get a text at 12.01 to say he couldn't get access

It would be a guess but presuming your address is correct on your Sky account he/she possibly went to the wrong address especially if your side road has a similar name to the main road.
