Sky box saying no signal

Hi all , switched Tv of last night. As normal, got up switched Tv on & Sky , but Sky saying no signal?. I've taken the Sky card out blow on it . Turned back on . Just saying the same? I've had a look at cable out side, alls good, yet still no Sky

No signal? Or no satellite signal? Have you tried restarting your Q box by turning off at the plug for 30 seconds or so?

No signal? Or no satellite signal? Have you tried restarting your Q box by turning off at the plug for 30 seconds or so?

Hi @Stephens+joy 

If it is a No Signal message then it is from your TV set.

First make sure that HDMI lead between TV and Sky box is correctly located at both ends.

Then with the TV switched on make sure it is switched to the HDMI input to which the Q box is connected.
Then with the Q box switched on with green led illuminated
Press
Home 1 0 8 0 Home
on the Q box remote control.

This will change the Q box to standard resolution which will work for all TV’s.

Yes it be checked the cable is in n both ends

Yes I've done all ,, unplug/ checked the cables Tv & sky box, I switched it off as normal last night,, as have been past 5 years,, no one else has been here

Does the Q box have a green led @Stephens+joy ?

Yes Green light is on, preset home & tried putting in 1080 still same message no n Tv

Just the lead Sky fitted,, no one else can touch the tv or sky box , & no I don't own a Cat lol

Hi @Stephens+joy 

Only other thing I can suggest is that you try another HDMI input on your TV set.

Failing that it looks like you need a Sky Engineer
