Sky box is connected to the internet, I have reset the box and internet router and it doesn't seem to connect. Live tv is still working but not catch up or apps such as Netflix etc? What should I do?

Assume this is your main Q box @JF23
Have you carried out a Network reset on the Q box.
Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

I assume you mean "is not"?

After a 2 hour call with a member of the Sky Engineering Support team today, it appears that Talktalk broadband has been updated recently and this is now preventing my SkyQ main box from connecting to my home WiFi network. However all my other phones and laptops connect to the Wi-Fi without any problems.
So after then making three subsequent unsuccessful calls to the Talktalk Broadband offshore support team, they have assured me that the problem with connecting my SkyQ main box is an issue that Sky needs to resolve. .!
So is it a known problem that Talktalk Wifi is no longer compatible with SkyQ equipment..?
if so, is there anything that can be done to resolve it ( as from reading an article from 2022 on the Talktalk customer support forum) it appears that deploying a firmware update on the Talktalk Router might resolve it.
hoping you can be of assistance - as currently I am not able to use most of the Sky services I am paying for under my Sky contract.
Regards,
Ian.
