My sky box disconnects from the wifi every few hours and has to be reset or switched off at the wall to get it to reconnect. The problem seems to have started since we had a new router but none of our other devices are affected.

No idea. I've tried lots of suggestions found on Internet. Nothing works. Including direct ethernet, box just refuses to connect. As soon as my contract is up I'm cancelling Sky and moving to free view.

I've been having the same problem as this for a few months now. Contacted my new broadband supplier and I did a few things they said to try and then they put a 48hr watch on my broadband to see if there was any outage and, from their end, there wasn't. In this time frame Sky dropped out of "Network connection" 3 times.
Nearly everyday I would have to turn the router and Q box off and reboot to solve the issue, albeit a temporary solution.
Spoke to sky technical today and went through a lot of diagnostics with them and all they could find was my main Sky Q box was on a different standby mode to my Sky mini box? So I've changed it to match now. So, fingers crossed, this helps!? Will update in a couple of days.

Does anyone know the answer to this problem please? I have to reset my Sky Q box and renter the routers password everythime, seems it is a software issue on the Sky Q box, Broadband is superfast but not with Sky. anyone help please?

This happens to me as well. Never an issue until I ditched sky broadband and switched to bt. I wonder if this is sky purposely doing this to get people to go back to them

Anyone have the answer? I am in the process of switching my broadband from Sky to Vodafone, not happened yet, and suddenly my main Q box keeps disconnecting from the internet dispute being cabled. The only change the switch letter said was the mini box hotspot has been disabled.
