Sky bix takes half an hour to come on and requires regular updates

I don't always swifch off at the socket buf when I do, it takes almost half an hour for the Sky box to come on

Hi @Jane97 

If you switch the Q box off at the Socket it is normal for the box to reboot when switched back on.

They are intended to always be powered on and in Standby with Amber LED when not in use.

They may need the occasional reboot if there are issues.

@Jane97 just checking, when it is powering up after a power down at the wall, are you following the screen prompts like pressing the HOME button when the blue screen goes black until the Green light moves from Amber?
