Sky advisor just rebooted my router. Now I can't get Sky Q box to connect. Have tried Network Setup

Why won't my Sky Q box reconnect to router? I've turned box off and ran the Network setup several times. The router has been playing up so advisor talked me through rebooting it by holding reset button for 30 seconds and turning off at mains for 6 minutes. Help!

Hi @Libertyloo 

Assume this is Sky Broadband and you are using WPS as follows:

Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router. Even if reset is not listed there is still an option to connect by WiFi to Sky or 3rd party router
As you are on Sky Broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately I've followed the Network setup several times, pressing the wps button on router

Hi @Libertyloo 

Might be worth resetting the router again and then Box network reset again.

Sky broadband first reset your broadband router by holding Reset on the back until the power light flashes green (about 10 seconds). Don't unplug or switch off your router while it resets. The power light will go green when it's done.
