Sky a films

1. You need to be able allow us us to put a film and any sequels in to one folder like with series

2. in this day and age you should to be able to have some sort of cloud so you can store recordings that allow you to access so if you have to change like a faulty sky Q box then you can re install on new box

You haven’t contacted Sky by posting here. This is a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other customers.

Thats not something Sky offer and with Sky Q nearing end of life (4-5 years) I doubt it's something Comcast would be interested in.

This is something that Q's UI has never provided and given it's maturity it's extremely unlikely to change.  The hard disk is for temporary time shifting and not for long term storage (you do not own a licence to retain the recording 'permanently')

This will never happen - the storage requirements would be immense (and work out how long it would take to upload 1/2GB of recordings - potentially impossible for many broadband connections).  However, this is effectively what 'streaming' is - there's a single master source that you can access, assuming your subscription allows it...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Comcast doesn't 'need' to do anything with Q, other than encourage user migration to their current platform rather than one which is a decade old.

Quite the opposite actually,  In this day and age the practice of recording is being phased out in favour of streaming ie: Sky Stream

The days of recording content and keeping it indefinitely are over

The last thing the content owners want is us to have a permanent copy of anything.
