I'm considering switching to Sky now I don't need a satellite dish but one thing puts me off.
I've had BT, Talk Talk and Virgin and when you go to the onscreen TV guide, it always shows what on from the channel you're watching.
But I've used Sky at friends' homes and even if Im watching, say, channel. 121, when I press the Home button, then TV Guide, the list always starts at 101. It drives me spare.
It's bad enough that you can't go directly to TV Guide and have to go to Home first, then TV Guide then All Channels.
Besides the three U.K. services, I used cable and satellite companies in the U.S. for decades and NONE of them made you go through hoops to get the TV Guide onscreen. So I suppose that Sky is unique in deliberately annoying its customers.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @59kirbyroad It is possible to display the TV Guide starting from the channel you are watching. Admittedly a rather convoluted way, press Select then DirectionRight several times and then choose TV Guide. I have said for many years it should be moved to the left menu, i.e. press Select, then DirectionLeft and choose TV Guide.

@59kirbyroad You've posted on Sky Q, but presumably you're referring to Sky Stream?
My Sky+HD box does have the ability to view the TV Guide from the channel that I'm watching but I don't think that function was carried over to Sky Q and presumably not to Sky Stream either.
