That sounds like a WiFi issue rather than Sky+

It is not a wifi issue. Im having the same issue with others on this post and on other posts from today and last week. Hence why I've added to this post. If i watch sky go on my ipad it works perfectly fine. The issue is clearly with the sky sports app and sky sports plus not working

With the greatest respect, that's still not the issue that this thread is supposed to be dealing with; I should know because I started it.
The original problem is that last Saturday's broadcasts all stopped in 90-ish minutes to be followed by a blue screen saying that "Coverage will commence shortly".
My query was why? And what we're Sky doing to ensure that it didn't happen again.
Yours, @Betty0071 , is a very different issue
No need to get snippy.

Whilst you do not say where you are, the sky offering is based on fiber to the TV, it appears that some of the low cost offerings are totally useless.
I am on 25/30 M b wifi and if stops to buffer every 3/4 min.
I am contracted for Q with largest hard disc so I can record and not worry about buffering.
As they are withdrawing the record facility in preparation for what appears to be a planned close down of satellite in next couple of years.
From what I hear there is only Virgin uk and BT uk who will have record facility in the future.

That is the issue im having, that's what i'm saying, just not at the end of the game. I read that post that's why I posted here to see if the issues has continued on for anyone else during this weekend. I don't mean to be short but it's frustrating to be told what the issue is when im looking at my screen and getting the same message as well it just cutting out all together as your original post. Meaning i can't watch a thing

Fair enough then.
I apologise.

I am in same situation when I contracted to Sky Q I could watch and record all satellite content in EPG on a 36" screen, since last Thursday can only get sports + on 6" smartphone and no record capability.
I am waiting for superleaghe season to end then I am going to pull my subscription and swap to sports content owners own streaming system, they will at least give you multi watch capability and up to 2 week window to watch.
By the way I have no connection with sky apart from lining their pocket best thing is to keep ringing their help desk they might save you some money until they join the real streaming world

I would'nt count on BT for recording....this is only the beginning, we'll all be forced to watch ad's in the very near future I reckon...

Same thing again tonight, with the swans game, getting to be really annoying now.
