Sky Sports channel changing suddenly

Yeah its totally random with the sports channels changing on their own. It can be any sport channel you watching and then it randomly jumps to another which is so annoying.

What part of it happens to random sports channels didn't you understand?

it jumps to another sports channel after about 10 seconds regardless of what sports channel I'm on. When I switch back to the channel I want to watch its fine and doesn't jump again.

• What Sky Sports channel were you watching when this happened? Multiple
• What channel does it change it to? Various
• Is it during the match, or adverts? During the match?
• Have you experienced this on any other channel? As per 1
• How far into the match were you, when it happens? About 10 seconds

Another user having the same problem. Today jumped from Sky Sp+ to Sky Tennis, possibly because both showing tennis?

In the past it has randomly jumped from a Sky Sports channel to Sky Main Event.

Sky seem to be doing very little to fix this, given the thread feedback.

Channel 404 on Sky Q is Sky Sports+ HD.

I don't know how everyone else is getting on with the channel changing on their own today?

mine has been good today and not changed once. Long may that continue, will see🤞

@Shonna1971  Hi,

 just checked our Sky sports channels today. Went from 401 to 406 and it switched back to 401 within 10 seconds.

Yes mine is doing it again. Got quite hopeful yesterday thinking the issue had finally been solved. Its so frustrating and needs sorting. Sky should offer us discounts until problem is rectified. I've flagged the problem on here and also phoned sky up to report the issue with them. Nothing changed, no contact from sky, no plan of action, no discount offered. Absolutely nothing more I can do apart from cancel subscription in august when my contract expires.

I'm having exactly the same. I've also rung Sky and had the same response and have come to the same conclusion that cancelling is the only option
