Sky Sports channel changing suddenly

wether it's happening to thousands of people or a handful of people  is irrelevant. The issue needs sorting out. Ive reported it to sky and they sent a brand new skyQ box, still the same problem. Reported it again to sky so they can log it. I'm paying good money for this service like ive said before so surely sky should get it sorted.

Mine still doing it after a few weeks mainly between 404 and 402,thought Sky would have got to bottom of it

Just happened again now, 405 to 402

seems to happen within the first few minutes of accessing the sports channels

It's a pity Sky aren't as quick dealing with this issue as they are when announcing price increases. Whilst the community is nice to vent issues with others who are having similar problems and to share ideas on what may help sort them. It is a toothless vehicle created by Sky to make them feel good without doing anything. I shall be calling Sky on Monday and asking for my account to be credited for the cost of Sky sports until they sort the problem.

Yes, happening regularly still. For us it's mainly 404/408 changing to 401. It is happening every time I start watching the tennis on those channels and will change quickly to 401 and then intermittently afterwards.

Happened yet again, quickest time for me. It was just under 15 seconds, it's getting very frustrating

It's happened to me quite a few times now. Thought it was just me but found this thread. This morning it went from 402 back to 401 within seconds after moving channels from 401 to 402

I'm getting this more frequently again now.  I also occasionally get a download playback stop as it switches back to a Sports channel.

I think it is more widespread than what Sky are admitting. Because it only appears on the sport channels people get annoyed and frustrated but assume it's a temporary glitch and don't report it.
Unless they google it and find this thread, only then people realise the extent of the problem. This needs to be advised wider by Sky to confirm the extent of the problem. 

Unfortunately , we have had this problem for weeks on our Qbox. Last night it happened on the mini box on our other TV. Still the sports channels affected. Maybe Sky could update their website with what they are doing so people would know. Or change the status on this question to say NOT answered. Maybe more investigation is needed but also to provide us with updates please.

Hello Sky, I am also experiencing the issue of channels jumping back to the previous channel, first noticed it approx 10 days ago. Very frustrating and would appreciate it if I could be included in the resolution when you send one out. Would it not be in your interest to send an email to all your subscribers explaining the issue and that you are attempting to resolve it asap.

I agree, this is very frustrating.  My Sports channels are still changing and sky is doing nothing. @SpaceSparkie did us no favours by marking this as answered.  It has NOT been answered.  I am very disappointed,  having been a sky subscriber for many, many years, I did not expect to be ignored by sky. I do hope when sky returns from their Easter hols, someone there will DO something to help us.

Sky will have no way of knowing who the minority of customers experiencing this issue are. Emailing all customers would just be confusing.

I am also having this issue and have been for a few weeks. Was at my parents earlier today and their sky sports is also having the same issues. Only happens on sky sports
