Sky Sports channel changing suddenly

Be interesting to see if anyone has had a resolution yet or an update from Sky of where they are in their investigation with this.

I am having exactly the same issue and have done for a week or two. Sports channels only

A number of us have registered this problem on the community conversation. The notification says it has been answered, but it hasn't.  My sports channels are still changing unexpectedly and I'm getting a little fed up with the lack of action from Sky.

This is also happening on my sky sports channels which is irritating to say the least. I've done the usual powering down and changing batteries with no improvement. 
Some help please at nearly £100/month for Sky !!!

We had a new problem the other night on sports 401- the screen went blue and it had a rebooting dialogue in the centre of the screen. After a few mins the rebooting dialogue disappeared but the blue screen stayed for a further couple of mins. Then It just came back to normal. It is still changing from one channel to another on the sports channels. Just as I type it changed again from 406 to 403. 
We have a big price increase coming up next month I would have hoped for some updated from Sky on this annoying problem.

My sky sports channels keep switching for no reason. I've done the usual reboot and battery change in the remote with no joy. This has been posted previously with an unacceptable answer and no resolution.

Been having trouble with sports channels changing on their own for a while now. It's normally 408 and 404 but also done it on other sports channels. Got in touch with sky and they sent me a brand new skyQ box. Obviously I thought this would solve the issue but it is still happening unfortunately. Sooo annoying 😡

Yes, still having the same problem today. The  sports channel changed as usual, just now.

Was something supposed to have happened on 31/03?

Yes I still have the problem literally happened minutes ago on 408/406

Just checked our TV now. Went from 406 back to 404 within 30 seconds. No improvement here unfortunately.

Just watching 406 and channel switched to 408 this is becoming very irritating. Sky need to take this matter in hand and sort this problem

Mine is actually getting worse. It's constantly flipping from one sports channel to another. Come on sky this needs sorting out asap. Its not like it's doing it on all the other channels so should be easy to pinpoint with it only being on the sports channels. Need a refund to be fair because sky isn't providing the services I'm paying a lot of money for.

As it only appears to be happening to a handful of customers, it's entirely possible that it doesn't happen on any of Sky's test boxes. Making it anything but easy to pinpoint.

@oj01  Hi,

I actually think it is more widespread than just a few people. I did google first and found this site where it is recorded. I added a comment here. I also did speak to Sky Tech and they had not been aware of this issue but she did say she would raise it also.

Unless it is raised as an issue by every customer who has this issue then Sky will not treat it as serious. People just complain and flick back but do not actually raise it as a complaint I think. Maybe if there was someone could raise a vote on Sky website asking if people have any issues with Sky sport. Or if there is some other way to get the information. 

It is now happening so often it is more than annoying IMO.
