Sky Sports US Open Tennis Match Replays

If providing full replays of all matches  is dependent upon the host provider and the content they share, why was Prime able to do this with their coverage of the US open last year?  Did they pay for more content or just care more about the viewer experience? 

This coverage - if you can call it that- is the worst I've seen in a long time. We have three British men playing today all around the same time, so how do we watch those matches? Can't watch simultaneously and no on demand or catch up. I will be writing to the US open about this appalling coverage.

I'm watching the Evans v Alcaraz match and we're now being told you can download the Sky Sports App so you can watch this match on TV and the Draper match on your phone at the same time

Why would I want to do that? 

I want to watch one match at a time thank you so give us on demand and catch up. Ridiculous 😡

Since Sky has taken over US Open and Discovery Plus has changed to include TNT sports subscription based why are Sky customers being left behind and not able to watch US open replays. At least when US Open was broadcasted on Amazon Prime last 3 years we UK Sky customers were able to watch full replays on their platform for chosen matches, why when this is a basic expectation due to time difference Sky is not allowing their customers to have this one basic requirement. Having the recording feature is great overnight but if the matches you watch are not being broadcasted on the main channel then you don't have a chance to enjoy the match you were interested in. The Sky Sports app section is good but needs a lot more work as this area does have the space to have all replays why have Sky not ultlised this space to have a basic expectation and requirement? Sky always increases the bill why are we not getting what we pay for?

I cannot understand it either. I was reading an article written in August 2022 about Sky regaining the rights for the US Open and saying they have a year to get it right. There was a footnote added in August 2023 saying that they have failed. It was very poignant, written by an elderly tennis fan who lives for watching tennis. Very sad. I'm going to miss watching tennis if this is what we now have.

Gutted! QF's today and can't watch 2 of them (arguably the best ones) unless I stay up half the night and even then can only watch one properly. This coverage is really bad. How do we complain?

Is this part true; 'We also replay matches from the previous day on the Tennis channel' .... are all matches replayed the next day? I haven't seen them!

I think one or two of the matches from the previous day or night session are played in the morning or afternoon on the Tennis channel, which is fine if you have time to watch them then. They do, of course, have loads of commercial breaks.

I can see the one or two matches /highlights Sky chooses to replay,  but not full relays of all matches. As many have said on here, very disappointing to say the least and Prime / Discovery + much better!

It's quite ridiculous really. I've spotted some replays on the Sky Tennis channel in the TV guide section. If you go into Sports and go down a few levels, I think under More US Open, there are some replays and I've seen the night sessions are there as well though I'm not sure how long it takes for them to put them up. Loads of adverts in them of course.

I've given up trying to follow this tournament. I just watch what live Tennis I can and look at the scores from other matches online. Rubbish.
