Sky Q

I have just purchased two new Sky mini boxes for Sky multi room. However, my Sky Q box is a 1 TB and will not support this number of mini boxes. How do I upgrade to a 2TB box?

You can't purchase mini boxes.  They are only lent to your from Sky for the duration of the relevant subscription.

The maximum concurrent limit is 2 boxes unless you have an older box.  (Being 1Tb is not in itself an indication of the box)

If you have an older main box that supports 1 mini box only then you'll need to call Sky and ask to change your main box to one that supports 2 - there will be a charge involved (Possibly £99) and you will lose all the recordings on your box.
