Sky Q without Sky Broadband

I am thinking of moving to BeFibre, my contract with Sky just about to expire. The fibre connection will work out cheaper and increase download speed by 5. Is there any problem I should be aware of in advance or is it a seamless transition these days?

Thanks in advance guys.

I recently moved to Lightspeed Broadband in my area, only thing I noticed is slower downloads to my Q box, initially i had it via WiFi on the new router, but that was too slow! went via ethernet and it improved greatly. I believe it's the case on any BB provider unless it's sky speeds to the box are throttled down. Still makes no real difference, but it's worth noting.

No, that's not the case.  Sky Q only needs 'enough' bandwidth for the selected content to play back without interruption at the chosen resolution anyway.
