Hi. My Sky Q box is connected via wifi to my new Nokia router less than 6 feet away. Router is high speed fibre sending out over 200mbps to other home devices (i've done speed tests) yet i can barely get my Sky Q box above 20mbps when i check speed via Netflix app. I've reset both router and Sky Q, also updated to latest firmware, no joy. Why is this happening??!! It's actually causing issues downloading programs and streaming is glitchy.

Hi @Bruce+Lee
You will not get anything like 200 mbps on the Q box but 20 mbps is certainly very low.
Try a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu. See if that helps.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.
Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.
Resetting the settings will also reset:
Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.
Failing this have you considered connecting your Q box by Ethernet to your router

Thanks v much for this advice oldfella, didn't know about hidden settings. So i got cheesed and took an ethernet through wall this avo from diner to lounge, hardwired as you suggested and now at 50mbps. Much better, though still surprised it's not nearer 100 but that's just probably my lack of tech knowledge.
thanks again, v useful

If it's only 6 feet away can you just use ethernet?
Might be some contention on the 2.4GHz spectrum if other devices are using it.
