For a couple of months now my mini boxes have been dropping their connection to my Sky Q 2TB UHD.
It's annoying but easily fixed. Turn them off, turn the main Q box off, have a brew turn everything back on and I'm usually good for a few weeks. Yesterday evening the main Sky Q box suddenly decided it "didn't have a connection to the internet". I followed to instructions given on screen - no joy. I reset the connection - no joy. I powered off my Sky Q box at the wall and reset my Sky router - no joy. I powered both the Sky Q box and the router off - nope. I watched Prime on my LG smart TV instead.
This morning none of my Sky Q products have a connection to the internet.

Hi @RegisRex
First reset your broadband router.
On Sky broadband hold the Reset on the back of the router until the power light flashes green (about 10 seconds). Don't unplug or switch off your router while it resets. The power light will go green when it's done.
Wait until the router is completely back and running and then try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router. Even if reset is not listed there is still an option to connect by WiFi to Sky or 3rd party router
On Sky Broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
If you have a Sky Max router it best to connect your Q box by router SSID and password and not WPS

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, sadly I did all of that last night, about 3 times, before I just switched eveything off, hoping a 'one finger reset might resolve things - it didn't.
I had another go following the instructions (what you've typed out) on the SKY TV page this morning and I got a connection on my 2nd attempt - for about an hour. It's dropped again now.
