Re: Sky Q uhd audio visual drop outs

300 page thread on this issue. But I suppose you can't see that either. Sky superuser who has defended them relentlessly for at least 4 years but has no affiliation with Sky, of course.

@Qlesssky just for your information   no super user has any affiliation to Sky have read of the link below on how you too can become a superuser .

All superusers are customers like yourself.

No one is say these faults dont exist but forums like this always make any problems look worse as if someone has a problem they want to complain about it where as if people who have no problems they dont tend to  come to the forums to say there system is working fine and no im not making excuses for Sky all problems should be looked into and fixed.

I have had Sky Q since 2016 and a UHD TV since 2018 and never had a UHD dropout problem

not all escalations get picked up.  Most do I can re-escalate your problem to Sky again if you wish

Re: Sky Q uhd audio visual drop outs

Could it be something to do with the TV? Like the age or hdmi cable type?

@SpaceSparkie How about finding a solution to this issue. 300 page thread over the past 2 years and it is still unresolved.

No problems with UHD here.... not once! Just thought I'd add another voice from "the minority". But seriously, the voice of the  'majority' that do NOT have a problem with UHD, don't have threads as evidence because they don't post to complain that nothing is wrong.

Re: Sky Q uhd audio visual drop outs

No solution offered either. Just Superusers stating there is no issue. Thank you for your condemnation and lack of empathy for people with a real issue that has been ignored for years.
Sky community without any community spirit has been my experience. But at least the lack of support is consistent with their customer service.

I'm not sure what you want me to say. I have a standard installation, my own dish, EE WiFi connected to main box and I have done nothing special to make UHD feed faultlessly. But that won't help you because "you have a problem".  With other examples on here, you are being advised that Sky UHD can work faultlessly, but unfortunately not in your case.
As all Superusers are just fellow customers (whether you believe us or not) we are not miracle workers who can diagnose your problem remotely.  Taking your anger with Sky out on us is just going to result in a moderator closing your thread.

Hi @Qlesssky

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. I have had to remove posts from the thread as they are not on topic and inapproriate for the forum and are not inline with the Community Rules found here

Can you provide the link to the thread on the community that you are speaking of so we can have a look at this please?

I can see you have said you are having audio and video dropouts on UHD content when using your Sky Q, what is the set up you have? do you notice any patteren to this on when this happens?

Thanks
