I've just had a message back from Sky, he said if it's the TV turning itself off and not the Sky box then it's a TV issue.

I don't think there's much doubt about that I'm afraid.

@maggiemay49  Well sorry if it sounded like criticism (the joy of text only communication) but if you say you removed it and that fixed it, then don't mention that you somehow re-introduced it without breaking it again and say you had your Q plugged into the ARC socket with no explanation why, when that's completely the wrong config, I'm not sure how that is supposed to help anyone. I was just trying to find out more about what you had done to see WHY it worked, to help others.

Presumably that person has never heard of HDMI-CEC

Maggie please don't feel this way. People shouldn't put others down with there solutions as what might work for one may not work for another. I feel we are all helping each other

Sorry I haven't kept track of what you've tried but have you turned off CEC on your TV?

Off on both the sky box and the TV?

I'm clutching at straws here.

@Chodley @Yes tried it on both. I've messaged LG and waiting for them to get back to me. Really hope they will come up with a solution.

@kannyhave lost count of who has done what, I seem to have found the solution in  removing the tv remote, & rebooting it
