There is definitely an underlying foundation of knowledge you need to absorb and adapt to the pace of change in consumer tech these days. I am not TikTok generation but have been using, coding and then working in the world of computers for over 40 years and that gives you the ability to more easily put 2 & 2 together when you encounter something new.
@Chodley the voice button was on the side for all remotes prior to the latest one which was introduced in 2019 I think
It was a small buttton unlike the now clear normal sized blue button on the front
