Every 2nd day my Sky Q switches off my BT internet connection for another wifi network (Happens to be a SKY wifi network presumably from a neighbour even though I live in a detached property) and as such I have to reset my internet connection. This has now been happening for a few weeks and getting really sick of it.
Anyone had a similar issue and is there any way to be able to stop this from happening?

The Sky Wifi network you can see is probably the one being generated by the Q box itself which it uses to connect to any Sky Q Mini boxes, do you have any?
Is the problem that your main Q box is connected via Wifi but keeps disconnecting from your BT hub?

Yes thats correct. I have 2 mini boxes but only 1 in regular use. .

A Sky Q box will only use 2.4 GHz to connect wirelessly to a router unless you have Sky broadband.
I know it is dull, but have you power cycled the hub or Sky Q box recently (turn off and disconnect from the mains for a good 10 minutes)? Is the Sky Q software up to date?

Really appreciate your assistance. I will check for software update and switch off at mains and unplug for 10 mins and reset.
Hopefully that helps

When you get the notification that there is a problem connecting to your broadbank router and the Network Name showing is a Sky connection rather than my BT internet connection. This then means there is no connection to broadband router and no connection to internet via the wifi and as such Home page, Catch up TV and On Demand are all lost and I have to reset to connect to BT.

Is it possible to hardwire the main Q box to your hub using an ethernet cable?
Have you been through the power cycle process on both devices? Did you check if Sky Q was up to date?
