Sky Q stopped connecting to router and wifi

We have had the sky Q box for over 4 years, nothing has changed, but it has lost connection with the wifi.

 

It used to disconnect with the router every now and then, but using the network reset in settings would work.

However today it just isnt working. I have spent over two hours trying to use all the previous suggestions on the forum.

Have tried so far, 

using the wps buttons on both,

switching off and rebooting sky Q

switching off and rebooting router

using network reset, but it just doesnt work

have moved the router as close as i can get it, ( within 2 metres of the tv with no walls between it.

any suggestions would be very welcome, as this means we have not been able to use our apps, and skystore tonight which is frustrating as we had a movie night planned with the children.

Did you get a solution to this as exactly the same thing has happened to us.
