Sky Q set up with tv and sound bar.

Hi

i have sky q, Panasonic TX-58DX750B TV and Panasonic SC-HTB680 sound bar.   Everything worked fine and the sky q played through the sound system.   Just dismantled due to new tv unit and when connecting back up, sky q has a lip sync issue and does not play like it used to through sound bar.
connections are as follows.

hdmi 1 from tv to sky q

hdmi 2 from tv to sound bar

optical lead from sky q to sound bar.

What are we not doing right?   So frustrating.

hi @Toptotty168

Are you getting lip synch issues with all channels or is it limited to those with 5.1 sound ?

Can I just check when listening are you selecting the optical input on your Soun bar or or you listening to the feed via the ARC connection from the TV

hi @Toptotty168

just out of interest do you have any other device connected to the HDMI input  on the sound bar ?

If not, although I know this is not how you had it before, have you tried SKY Q via HDMI direct to the Sound bar - I can;t say for definite but the manual implies it can pass the full 4K signal through (it mentions a 4K player)  - although itis possible that it  may not pass through HDR
