I'm newish to Sky Q (had Sky + for many years). I keep trying to use the voice search to find a show to record that is on in the future. C4 advert said it was on tomorrow and so I used voice search to find it so I can record.
I always get 'Sorry no results' - so instead have to trawl through the TV guide trying to find the show so I can press record.
This has happened with almost every show that I know is scheduled and would be in the TV guide but wouldn't be ready to access from catch up or on demand.
why doesn't sky q search the TV guide to show results? And why isn't it intuitive and find best match rather than exact match?
Sometimes I don't know what day or time a show is on so have to go through each day and hour in the guide.
And where had the blue button option gone when an ad for a show is on, allowed you to press blue to go straight to record?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI use voice serach regularly and it is usually reliable, but does have occasionally glitches..
But, you can do a manual search (which tends to pick up a lot more than the voice search, along with Netflix listings (if you have that with Sky)) by clicking on the search button (top right) on your Sky Q remote.
Have a read of the this Sky Q article to resolve problems with voice search;

I agree is isn't very reliable, often miss hears what I say, would rate it at 60% reliable whereas Alexa is 99% reliable.
