Sky Q repeater network , one repeater seems to have failed

Hi all ,  my Sky Q setup has 1 mini and 2 white sky repeater boxes. Recently the sky mini disconnected and when I looked at the two repeaters one was fine all light green and one did not display the wifi light, nor the connected light. So I switched the repeaters round as the one with no wifi was closer to the Mini. Then I was able to reinitialise the mini and it now works fine. Yet the box that had no wifi light still has none. So how do I turn Wifi on in this repeater or has it failed. Yes I've tried a reboot and reset. Any ideas welcome

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

If it works without it I'd just switch it off. Every surplus extra repeater hop doubles the bandwith consumed by any traffic.

Re: Sky Q repeater network , one repeater seems to have failed

Thank for the idea but I have one repeater boosting one end of the house where the mini is,  and one boosting the other end where the Q box is, so not the Qbox is on a weakened signal, thus two are required to maintain the original setup, Other associated question io have does anybody know the admin password of these repeater boxes or if they can be managed by an app, perhaps the setup has switched the wifi off one due to an update or power spike (who knows).
