Sky Q remote voice control only works occasionally

Hi, when I try to use the voice command on my remote control for my Sky Q minibox, it rarely works. Mainly I get "Sorry, we didn't quite get that". I've tried new batteries etc but it doesn't help.

Thanks for any advice or help.

@lynnechapman265 you could try reboot your router then doing the same with your main Q box 


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

I find it works amazingly well. I do try to speak like Hugh Grant though.

Have you checked that the microphone is not blocked ?
(Small hole below the SKY Logo/button)

 

If necessary try cleaning carefully with a pin
