Our internet totally went off last night 3 times today I've had to reboot it all and reset the sky q boxes both upstairs and down I now can't use remote upstairs for volume or change Chanel up or down mine is a lg tv too has worked no problem up until now

I have the same problems with my TV no longer being recognised... it's not that old!
Mine is a Toshiba.
Very frustrating trying to remember to use the 'other' remote... my 80 year old eyes don't give me such clear vision as they used to and I had to get a much larger television than my small flat warrants but at least now I can read the text.

Mine seems to have resolved over the last 3 days now I have had to turn off at wall and restart my sky q box due to it saying no internet connection yet all my lights are green at router and on my sky page good connection
Once I had rebooted it all and basically start from scratch I had to do the press 1and 3 together then the 7an 9 and start the Bluetooth pairing again which did the trick
but the past three days I've had to restart the sky box 4/5 times as keeps going off I thought at first it might have been a weather problem as bad where I am

Thanks so much @Almabrierley . I'll try those later, as currently got some recordings on the go.
Interesting, I had to unplug the Sky box yesterday to sort out the issue of lack of thumbnails on recordings - found the answer to that on here I think.
I'll let you know if it works for me.
Now to find out why some recordings don't get into the folder with all the rest of the series,. Wish me luck with that one LOL

We seem to have things recorded we haven't even inputted lol,
but yes try unplugging all your router and reset router and tv and sky q box and start again it will say press Home Screen when screen goes blank do this and go to settings and where your internet sky number is reset that and it will pair it all again fingers x I hope it all works. Today has been ok for two days I haven't had to reset as I said could have been the weather too

Thanks so much, that worked, eventually. Suddenly thought I wonder if I need to do that from the Settings Menu and of course I did.
Volume now controlled with the Sky remote so a little less clutter on my desk!!

We are also having the same problem with our lg tv!
we recently got sky stream about a month ago and when setting it up it originally worked with the volume for about 10 minutes and then stopped working completely and won't reconnect, it's really annoying!!!
any answers on how to solve the volume and controlling issue with sky remotes and lg televisions? 😓

My Sky Q box has stopped being able to control my TV, it's the LG 55 G2. When I go to set up the controller it doesn't have the model listed and cannot auto setup even with all 15 chances. Why has the Sky Q box lost the G2 as a supported TV, it's a very popular model, plus it was working earlier today?

Okay. After unplugging the sky box, my TV and the network switcher that they are both physically connected to, then plugging it all back in and starting up, I can confirm that after choosing to auto setup the controller on the sky q box it is back up and running again. It's a strange one, as my TV remote was having issues too at the same time, and that was also fixed. I dunno. If it happens to you, unplug everything, or switch off at the socket and try again. I hope it helps.

I have recently bought a LG tv and was able to pair my sky remote to control the volume of the tv and my surround sound, problem is when I switch the tv sound option to either tv speaker or optical output th e sly remote has to be paired again every time as it seems to lose the connection, is this normal when using a optical connection

I am having similar issues myself. No connection between sky q box and tv. It did work but now nothing. Am concerned as continue to pay for service I am not receiving. Tried all advice on helpline etc but no joy. Now had to book for an engineer to call due not until the 3/12/24. Watching tv on my table not sky at this time. Tried to set up on sky on my tablet as well. So far no luck........very disappointed as only recently had Sky Q box. Had none of these issues with the old sky box. Sounds like many folks have had problems as well. 🥴
