Sky Q not working with new tv

I have recently bought 2 new tvs and the main sky q box doesn't work with either

i can connect ok but as soon as the hello screen disappears the picture keeps flickering and is impossible to watch sound is also on and off, I have downloaded latest software and used new hdmi cables and still the problem persists 

I re plug the old tv and everything is fine ?

Hi @KD30 

First make sure that the Television is switched on and is switched to the HDMI input to which the Q box is connected.
Then with the Q box switched on with green led illuminated
Press
Home 1 0 8 0 Home
on the Q box remote control.

This will change the Q box to standard resolution which should work for all TV’s.  See if this is any better

What model TV is it?

Which new cables did you get?

Does the same happen with both new TVs?

Already done this still have the same problem

its as of the sky box can't match the resolution of the new tvs 

old tv works fine

One tv is TCL and the other is Samsung both work fine with the sky mini box but not the main sky q box

What output res is the Q set to?

should be 1080i after that remote button sequence.

Every TV in the last ~20 years can accept that.
