Sky Q not working at all I'm 80 and disabled and I can't get someone to fix it help please

I've been on phone a total of 5 hrs now and still no one will book an engineer visit - what do I need to do

Other posts suggest you might not get a date before the new year anyway. If it's a dish realignment that's needed, employing a local independent installer would almost certainly be quicker, although unfortunately you'd have to pay.

If Sky are sending a replacement box it'll be via a 'doorstep box swap' whereby DPD deliver a new box and take your faulty box away so remember to disconnect it before the courier arrives and (more importantly) remove the viewing card from the old box before it disappears into the van.

Also make sure you also swap the power connector along with the box as there are two types and if the old one doesn't match the new one...
