Sky Q not series link not working (between series)
Hi
Are there any tips or threads to fix Sky Q not recording series which have been previously linked? We've loads of examples like Last Week Tonight, Harley Quinn etc which just don't record between series meaning we miss most of them before realising they're back on. It's so frustrating given it's one of the benefits of having Sky. Any tips?

@rjslater Smart series link has always been unreliable at best. But, do you still have the same Sky Q box that you had when these programs were last on, as the data is stored on the box itself?
Personally, I use the Geektown website to keep track of new/returning series.

Thanks @oj01 @it's the same box, it used to be fine. I wonder if it needs a complete reboot and wiping the old recordings and resetting the schedule but will definitely check out geektown. Thanks for the tip

I see it all the time. Sky Q is a backwards step from + where this issue never occurred and you could extend record times to allow for over runs. Sky Glass is another functional backwards step from Q.
Sky is not value for money anymore and am seriously considering if the high costs are worth it

Not only have I found this but it often doesn't record the next programme in a series that is the first in a new week. eg Rarely do the Monday editions of Homes under the Hammer record. Another issue is programmes in the same series are oftern listed under new 'thumbnail images' so I can have 3 or 4 images for the same series and have to search amogst them for the next one to watch.

@PapaSteve1 its down to CH5 to set the series link metadata if they are not setting this correct then that could be the problem the other reason could be a problem with your box have you tried rebooting your main Q box
