Sky Q mini signal error on monitor

Hi, my sky q mini box doesn't work with my gaming monitor. 

When I connect the HDMI lead it says signal error when the box is switched on which tells me the cable is working as it is picking up the signal but there errors showcasing sky on the screen. 

any ideas?

Hi @Ryan+Church-Micha 

First make sure that the TV is switched on and is switched to the HDMI input to which the Q box is connected.
Then with the Q box switched on with green led illuminated
Press
Home 1 0 8 0 Home
on the Q box remote control.

This will change the Q box to standard resolution which may work with your monitor

No joy there I'm afraid, still says "HDMI SIGNAL ERROR"
