Sky Q mini non-sky wifi

I have replaced sky broadband due to performance, and installed a WiFi mesh system which works well.

sky q mini is not capable of using the WiFi that I know, but can it use booster boxes? As I cannot get good signal to main box and disconnects daily (requiring re-association). Sky tech cut me off once I finally avoided them sending me texts to resolve.

No, it cannot (unless the hardware in question is a Sky branded wireless booster).

If a nearby non-Sky booster or mesh node has an ethernet port then a Mini box may be able to use that over ethernet cable with its own WiFi switched off.

Re: Sky Q mini non-sky wifi

So sky booster boxes work to connect mini to main box without sky broadband?
