Sky Q mini no longer connects to extender after I had to reset it.

My Sky Q mini locked up, it wouldn't move off standby. I found some info on how to do a reset, "switch it off on the mains, hold the reset button in while switching it on again." That got everythng working, except it will no longer connect to the extender in the hall. I've tried moving the extender slightly to make it more in line with the mini box while still having it half way between both boxes. Nothing I do works.

when the box starts up it gets to the point where it asks me to press the WPS on the white extender. I've tried that lots of times and it won
