Sky Q mini in outbuilding

Hi and thanks for taking the time to read this post. I have Sky broadband with Sky Q TV and 1 Sky Q minibox in our bedroom (so we have a multiroom subscription). I have a man cave at the bottom of the garden which I've connected to WiFi via the powerlines. My question is how do I get Sky TV in the outbuilding? Is there a way to get a Sky Q minibox connected? (It's too far away to connect wirelessly to the main Sky Q box)

Thanks for your help

Laura

You may be able to connect via the powerlines, some work some dont, have you tried the minibox from the bedroom?

You may need to reset the network in the settings menu and reconnect, if the powerlines are wireless then you connect via them, if they are ethernet then you would need to reset the network settings and connect via an ethernet cable. if this works you could order a second minibox.

Slight correction: a Mini won't connect to (or stay connected with) WiFi from a Powerline adapter.  You'd want the Powerline outputting over ethernet and connect that to the Mini box, with the Mini WiFi switched off.  This works best if the main Q box is also on ethernet rather than WiFi.
