Sky Q mini displays no signal on the TV

Since the broadband connection had a fault yesterday and seems to now be fixed as we have green lights on the hub our sky Q mini box upstairs won't connect to the main box and displays no signal check hdmi -ive rebooted the hub, the main sky Q box, used WPS button, and nothing works. It then suggests booking a TV engineer but won't let me book. The order for the broadband engineer must be stuck in your system as the broadband is now ok. Please help or do I need to call sky.

Hi @PJR60

You say you have used the WPS button.  What exactly did you do when you did this?

If the mini isn't displaying a picture that won't be related to network connection.

Ensure the TV is set to the correct HDMI input?  Is the mini on, are there any lights?  Does it respond to the remote?

You could try a reset:

Switch the Sky Q Mini box off at the mains.
Hold down the Reset button on the back of the Sky Q Mini box and switch it back on at the mains.
Keep holding it until the light on the front flashes red and green. This will take about 30 seconds.
Once it flashes red and green, press the standby button on the front of the box.
If the lights don't show after 30 seconds, repeat steps 1 to 2.
The box will then restart.
After the on-screen messages have disappeared, press Home on your Sky Q remote to switch your box back on.
