I have Sky Q box and a mini box & both boxes can be controlled by their respective remote controllers from anywhere in my home, i.e they don't need to have line of sight to the box or even to be in the same room as the box. I have just added a new additional mini box & positioned that in a cupboard but the new box can only be controlled by it's remote controller when the cupboard door is open. Can anybody shed some light on why this might be as my understanding is that a mini box can be in a cupboard or even another room & it shud still be controllable by the remote. Thks

@GaryM172 Try resetting your remote.
Press the buttons 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice then follow onscreen instructions to repair the remote.
