Sky Q mini box losing connection constantly but Apps are working fine

SkyQ mini box has started losing connectivity every 10 seconds. Reset everything possible from router, mini box and main sky q box. Network check says everything is connected but when I try to select a TV channel it say it looks as though I don't have internet connection!! The network screen says I have internet. Is the box duff? Xmas a week away so need answers please.
