We have Sky Q with the multiroom setup with one mini box in the summer room and the other outside in our garden bar.
The one outside in the bar works tirelessly and remains connected, the one in the summer room does. Every day I have to reconnect it to the main Sky Q box, whilst this isn't the end of the world it is starting to get somewhat annoying.
The message "You can't watch TV at the moment as there is a connectivity problem" is shown, I then have to go to "Settings - Connection to Sky Q box - Reactiveate" (despite the connection option having a tick against it to confirm the mini box is connected to the main box) I then confirm the reactivation and after about 10 minutes or so, once everything has settled down all is good.
The mini box is not turned off at the wall at any stage, it is always left in standby.
We don't have Sky Broadband but we do have a Sky wi-fi extender, which isn't that far away from the mini box that keeps dropping connection.
Any clues will be gratefully received, I suspect there's possibly an issue with the mini box.

Hi @RazorBoy
Afraid Q mini boxes will not connect to 3rd party WiFi or 3rd party WiFi extenders. They will only connect to the main Q box WiFi (or another connected mini WiFi)
Instead or reactivating try resetting its connection.
First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the minis.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
Reboot the mini as above.
If the mini still does not connect try a network reset on the mini
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).
Instead of the main Q box if another connected mini is nearer then the main Q box you can use this for WPS.
Failing all of the above you may need a Sky Q WiFi Booster to position midway between your main Q box and the mini and you will need to contact Sky directly.

Thanks @oldfella but we already have a Sky wi-fi extender between the main Sky Q box and the mini box!
I'll try the other things you mention and hopefully that will sort it 🤞🏻

So far, so good, since doing a network reset I haven't had an issue, fingers crossed that's the end of it !
Thanks @oldfella and a merry Christmas to you.
