I've had a sky Q mini box upstairs for a few years never really had any problems just connectivity every now and again. The last 2 weeks it's constantly losing connection every 5-10 minutes. I've tried all the usual unplugging at the mains and restarting, following the settings for reconnecting to downstairs main box, reset downstairs main box, etc. any other suggestions?.. please it's driving me mad. Thank you 🙂

In the end I had to have a sky engineer come out, he did a connectivity test and found that the 2 boxes had a week signal (strange as it's been fine for years) so he set up a booster half way between the boxes and I've not had this problem since 🙂 give them a call to come out.

Hi @Charlie0911 Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with the Mini box?
I used to have superpowers… But a therapist took them away.

I have exactly the same problem, been ok for years then connectivity drops out every 5 mins or so , pulled plug , rebooted 100 times , unplugged router still no good 😡

Re: Sky Q mini box keeps losing connection every 5-10 minutes
I have a Main Sky Q box and 2 mini boxes. I am on a 3rd party internet (Karoo - Kcom) and everything has been fine for ages.
Recently the mini boxes starting dropping signal and needed reactivating. In the last few days the main box has started dropping it's internet signal as well.
I have rebooted all boxes. I have manually updated the main box software, I have reset the router and the main box and still all boxes keep losing connection.
