Sky Q mini box hot and sluggish.

Sky Q mini box slow to respond, constantly dropping connection/connectivity to main box also feels very hot (not warm).

Hi @SKY71C34 

Minis will run quite warm and need adequate ventilation.

However it should not be hot.

If you are concerned you need to contact Sky for an Engineer.

My observation, when I had Q, was that typically meant the Wifi was struggling.

Hi Timmybgood, yes It was struggling constantly with connectivity, picture break up and screen messages. I do also have a general poor wifi throughout the house. Thanks for your advice.

My main sky q box is too hot to touch, and the red light is permanently on even if im not recoding anything. I have tried rebooting the box, but the red light wont go off, and sky advised it was normal to hot, but i feel its too hot, after touching the top of the box it has left a red mark on my hand, im now so concerned ive turned the box off.

Look out for a chat bubble at the bottom of your screen inviting you to a chat
