Sky Q mini box disconnecting daily from Vodafone
Can anyone offer any advice please? I know Vodafone and Sky dont seem to be compatible but Sky don't offer the equivalent broadband in our area yet so I'm stuck.
Everytime we use our mini box (and we have 2) they are either disconnected from the main box or from the router. Even when we go through the reset it will constantly drop in and out and gives us the blue screen. I'm currently paying for a service I can't use and I'm lost as to what to do. I've reset everything twice over the last 2 days in the hope it would help but nothing. I've just been on the app to check the status of the devices and it says that one of the mini boxes isn't plugged in and I'm stood looking at it. Can anyone help please?

Re: Sky Q mini box disconnecting daily from Vodafone
Hello!
You're encountering a common issue where Sky Q Mini boxes struggle with non-Sky broadband like Vodafone due to interference with Sky's own 5GHz mesh Wi-Fi. Beyond basic resets, try these: perform a Network Reset on ALL Sky Q boxes, access the hidden Engineer Menu (001 then Select on Settings) to disable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi on Mini boxes or adjust 5GHz channels. Consider using Ethernet cables or Powerline adapters for a stable connection. Also, check your Vodafone router's Wi-Fi settings to separate 2.4GHz/5GHz bands or change 5GHz channels to reduce interference. If issues persist, contact Sky Support, detailing all steps taken.

Re: Sky Q mini box disconnecting daily from Vodafone
Thank you. Should I go into the engineer settings on all 3 boxes?

@HC2104 If your broadband is not with Sky then the mini boxes will need to be connected by wifi to you main Q box by way of the Sky Q mesh from the main Q box. They will not connect to you vodafone router properly. Try a network reset and and when asked You will need to use the WPS button on the mini boxes to connect to the main box or if they still disconnecting then you may need a Sky Q booster or 2
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
