Sky Q mini box connected to main box but live tv freezes. Internet is ok.

My most remote sky Q mini box (upstairs) says that it is connected to my main sky Q box and router (downstairs) but live tv and recordings access on the mini box are so glitchy I can not watch them. I can stream on Netflix / YouTube ok on the mini box so internet connection seems to work. There is a booster between my mini box and the main box/router. The connection light on the booster regularly changes from green to orange. I have rebooted the mini box and main box but makes no difference. The problem seems to be significantly worse since "upgrading" to full fibre.

Hi @Fuzzy75 

Assume your WiFi booster is a Q WiFi booster?
Check which device is nearest to the problem mini.

• Another mini
• Main Q box
• Sky router.

Whichever is nearest this is the one that you first want to connect to the Q WiFi booster by WPS.

Once it is connected carry out a Network reset on the problem mini.

Network Reset found in mini box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to 
to press the WPS button on the nearest Q device (booster). (Not on the mini box as the Network reset will start the mini box WPS automatically).

Yes it is a Sky Q booster and was supplied when the new full fibre router was installed. I do t think that the mini box was connected to the booster.

I've connected the booster to the main sky box and the mini box to the booster and so far so good.

Unfortunately the problem still persists. It's driving me mad. It used to work fine. Regret going full fibre now.
